Snapple and Core Brands Transition to 100% Recycled Bottles

Keurig Dr. Pepper has decided to transition its Snapple and Core brands to bottles made of 100% recycled plastic. This transition will save 46.3 MILLION pounds of virgin plastic that Keurig Dr. Pepper uses every year! Monique Oxender, the company’s Chief Sustainability Officer, says that “ Transitioning to recycled plastic bottles for two of our key brands is a critical next step in Keurig Dr. Pepper’s commitment to a circular economy.” Not only will the plastic used become more eco-friendly, but every bottle label will also have a How2Recycle section that clearly describes to consumers how to recycle the bottle.
