11 Feb International Day of Women & Girls in Science

Today is International Day of Women & Girls in Science. This holiday signifies the importance of advocating for equality in science for women. The International Day of Women and Girls in Science was implemented by the United National Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and UN Women. It was established with the goal of promoting women and girls in science.

It is also important to encourage young girls to pursue their interests and not to be discouraged or dismissed in their love for science.
