18 Feb LEGO plans to cut its carbon footprint by about 70% by 2030

LEGO will be switching their petroleum-based building blocks with ones made from 100% plant-based materials by 2030. While it is still plastic, the new LEGO pieces will be recyclable and be made from a renewable resource – sugar cane. Some of the LEGO packages already include plant-based blocks!
