Finding creative ways to reuse plastic waste is a great way to lower humankind’s impact on the environment. There are people around the world finding creative projects to make using old plastic! One of these people is Veronika Richterová. Veronika Richterová is the creator of “PET-ART,” meaning Polyethylene Terephthalate Art. She is an artist from the Czech Republic who creates her art by reusing plastic waste. She opened the PET-ART museum that features about 3,000 items from 76 different countries. Her current PET-ART sculptures collections are crocodile, penguin, flying fox, blue poison dart frog, European lobster, jellyfish, morpho butterflies, hunting trophies, mushrooms, and a cactus collection.
